I can't say I read the instructions all that carefully. But for XP you had to do either a clean install or partition your drive. And my drive isn't very big (and needed to be formatted anyways) so I just did a clean install right on the C drive. ugh. Macs. lol don't get me started ;) um… not sure about vista. I mean, I had to re-download everything anyways. Cuz I had FF on my comp before, but its sure gone now. Along with everything else that was on my comp. So really, if everything gets wiped, it makes sense that it switches the default to the one that comes with the program. And yeah, I'm pretty sure the mac OS doesn't come with IE. lol and I'm also pretty sure that no one would ever make a big fuss over that one! So it seems like a bit of a double standard for MS.
